The HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11 is a 1U rack-mount enterprise server engineered for versatile performance, scalability, and density in data centre and edge environments.
Designed as a configure-to-order (CTO) platform, DL360 lets business customers align processor, memory, storage, I/O, and networking options to specific workload requirements — from general compute to virtualisation, database services, and intelligent analytics.
The DL360 Gen11 supports the latest 4th and 5th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors and high-speed DDR5 memory, delivering a balance of compute power, memory footprint, advanced security, and efficient energy use in a compact form factor that fits dense racks and shared infrastructure deployments.
Ideal Environment / Deployment
The HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11 is tailored for medium-sized enterprise environments where scalable performance and density are priorities. As a CTO platform, it supports configurations tailored for virtualised infrastructure, database and analytics workloads, cloud-native and containerised applications, and edge consolidation.
DL360 Gen11 supports high-core CPUs and large DDR5 memory pools, providing headroom for compute-intensive workloads, while flexible storage options including high-capacity SAS/SATA or high-performance NVMe help align I/O performance to application requirements. Advanced serviceability, integrated security with Silicon Root of Trust, and remote HPE iLO 6 management make DL360 Gen11 suitable for distributed data centres where uptime and lifecycle control are essential.
Processor support: 1 or 2 × 4th or 5th Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, with up to 64 cores per socket.
Cache: Up to 320 MB L3 depending on chosen CPU.
Memory architecture: Up to 4.0 TB per socket of 5600 MT/s HPE DDR5 Smart Memory across 16 DIMM slots per processor.
Memory protection: Support for HPE advanced ECC, mirroring, online spare and Fast Fault Tolerant memory (configurable).
Storage options:
Up to 8 × 2.5″ SFF SAS/SATA/NVMe or 4 × 3.5″ LFF drive bays.
Up to 20 × EDSFF E3.s NVMe drive support with appropriate backplanes.
I/O and expansion: PCIe Gen5 slots plus OCP 3.0 interfaces for high-speed NICs, storage controllers, and accelerators.
Network options: Flexible NIC configurations via OCP 3.0 adapters; choices include high-speed Ethernet or converged network adapters depending on CTO build.
Security: HPE Silicon Root of Trust, TPM support, UEFI Secure Boot, and Intel® Software Guard Extensions (SGX).
Management: HPE iLO 6 embedded management with Intelligent Provisioning and optional HPE OneView.
Power & cooling: Hot-plug power supplies with options for Titanium efficiency ratings and redundant configurations.
Form factor: 1U rack-mount chassis designed for space-efficient enterprise deployment.
